in a very unique School in Springfield Gardens there's a very special rule each student will be in power to develop and nurture valuable skills to be lifelong Learners at the Ralph Bunche School when thinking of PS 132 we think of a home away from home for all of ours to him we think of us being a staple in our community and a safe haven for all of our community members offering a safe nurturing loving environment for students where they are courage to take Rick and engage in a challenging and rigorous curriculum Diplomat and Nobel Peace Prize recipient dr. Ralph Johnson Bunche our school is dead to being a leader and academic excellence in our community at the Forefront of that mission is our steam program which engages students to be high-level thinkers and problem-solvers we recently started a team program at PS 132 so with that we decided to start a computer science coding class as well as a  and music class and starting an art program for students my favorite subject it is because like I've been doing art ever since I was young in pre-k and I will enjoy the feeling is I love I'm drawing and painting and coloring my favorite subjects are science and reading you got to do all kinds of stuff like you just to see how you can make a tornado with water bottles and all of it goes together one of my goals that day would be motivated to go going to jobs science engineering technology that was a goal is he there is are very nice they can help you with a lot of things that make it easier for you giving children the option of Independence where do you want to go with that so now that you're getting older and getting wiser what interest is being sparked when you in all these different classes and getting these different exposure to these different types of curriculums along with the rigorous academic curriculum our teacher diligently work together to implement teaching tools to provide emotional cultural and social sensitivity for each student matter and they count and talking about them is what make things a little bit easier not just holding it in but also that goes to the children feel uncomfortable enough to come to us to have those conversations they can yell and scream will be able to deal with all of their moons all of their extreme that he he doesn't know how to do with it they're very a very secure it's there when I think about mr. T's I'm just so excited because she's a great role model for our children the mirrors get off the children could be a representation of them self to see history on the wall we have even staff members that have come and gone and then I want to hear when I said I wanted to be on that show because if and when I had a guy child and went to that my grandchild to see history told me they have to come into a building feeling comfortable like a place away from home so if they see themselves represented you know me Rose or even classroom I have students who speak other languages and sometimes I'll say something and she'll let me sneak in as little as you say it like this you know my language and I'm like oh how do you say it and so you know she teaches me so this way she feels comfortable she feel the part of the community and is really important trying to hone into that we take pride in well-rounded education for your child and provide fun clubs and activities for them to be involved in we also have a variety of sports clubs and teams like basketball, track and field dance that students can join me where are awarded money to have things went to place a playground living things for the children other than just a play the brand new state-of-the-art school with three tracks of full basketball court and a beautiful mural that just shows the community this is our community and our school is a part of that community we're all working together we all have positive energy and we treat each other fact my friends and his school is very great everyone in the school helps me and gives me encouraging words and know what I'm doing teachers are very nice and also gives a very helpful you're also going to the love of God Timmy we are the home away from home I think we all work together so that we can make sure that people do want to come they want to know if we are engaging learning environment for your child PS 132 where dreams come true is the place for you so now that you've seen our school don't miss out on all the wonderful opportunities we have to offer here at PS 132 visit our website or give us a call we love to me
